This is the PSA I made with the Help of Chris Bose,Tracie Louttit, Garrett Seymour. Chris did most of the shots in the City, while I did the forest shots. Tracie help me edit the film, she also got the music using program called sound pro I think it was, Garett did the acting.

Exile

In 1953, Inuit families were forcibly relocated to the uninhabited and inhospitable high arctic, 1500 kilometres north of their traditional homeland of Nunavik, in northern Québec. The goal of the move was to extend Canadian claims of sovereignty to Ellesmere Island. As a result, Inuit people were forced to endure the pain of families torn apart and many years of hardship. With devastating first-person accounts of survival, the trail of
broken promises and shameful practices of the government and the RCMP, this powerful documentary captures the long-standing effects of these events from the perspectives of the people who were forced to endure them. In an effort to be sensitive to the delicate subject matter of the film, the production of Exile was undertaken with an entirely-Inuit crew.

The Gulf Island Film school

I am here on a Island not to far from Victoria, I am learning how to do psa's and film editing which is awesome. I never knew how to use photoshop, but yesterday I learnt how to use it; it was simple rally, well not that simple I had troubles with the image size. I had to remember how to make the pictures smaller and bigger, hey its my first time so dont judge me :-P. I will be on this very small Island for 2 weeks away from girlfriend who is going to be fiance very soon :-). Well back to what I was writing about, I look forward to learning more about what I am going to do here.

The long ride down towards Vancouver B C canada was a long one I am from way up north, just well over 450 km from Prince George. i enjoy long drives and road trips, although I cant wait to get the new laptops and HD cams that this school gave all 12 of its students. Man I am going to go nuts with it and my girlfriend will get all giddy about it. what can I say? I am a geek when it comes to that kind of stuff. well please post some comments I dont mind at all I wouldnt bite yet lol just kidden :-P :-P
